Vic Paulson Memorial Scholarship
The Hawaii Island Landscape Association has two (2) $1,000 dollar scholarships available
Deadline to apply next year is May 31st, 2023
Eligibility Requirements: Enrolled in their senior year at any high school on the Island of Hawaii or currently enrolled or planning to enroll in any college or university, or any institution of higher learning in a program of horticulture, landscaping, environmental planning or agriculture (The Green Industry).

Hawaii Island Landscape Association is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 HILA Vic Paulson Scholarship.
Matthew J. Labasan, a 2022 Vic Paulson Scholarship Award recipient.
Matthew is a 2022 graduate of Waiakea High School in Hilo. He will be attending the University of Massachusetts in Amherst this fall and will major in Environmental Engineering.
Cyrus K. Ching, a 2022 Vic Paulson Scholarship Award recipient.
Cyrus K. Ching is a 2022 graduate of Kealakehe High School. He will be attending Western Washington University in Bellingham this fall with plans to major in Environmental Science.
HILA typically grants two annual awards of $1000 each, but in 2022 we had two great applicants accepted, Mathew J. Labasan from Waiakoa High School in Hilo and Cyrus K. Ching from Kealakekua High School in Kailua-Kona
