Since HILA’s inception of holding conferences in 2010, HILA, in conjunction with the University of Hawaii Cooperative Extension Service, has presented an annual conference and trade show at the Hapuna Beach Hotel on the Kohala Coast. This one-day educational event is the premier annual conference for all members of the Big Island green industry:  landscape architects, designers, nursery growers, retailers, contractors, maintenance personnel, arborists, suppliers and educators.  The Trade Show features the latest products and services offered by numerous landscape vendors in Hawaii. Speakers include local experts from the golf course, nursery and landscape industry, as well as the University of Hawaii. The conference provides an opportunity to earn valuable Continuing Education Units (CEU) for:

  • ISA Certified Arborists
  • Landscape Industry Certified Technicians
